Acupuncture
Sterile, single-use filiform needles are used. These needles are thin, some roughly the size of a human hair. They are placed around the body based on the individual TCM diagnosis. For patients who are sensitive or nervous about needles, there are options available. Adjunctive techniques may include, tuina, cupping, gua sha, or moxibustion. TCM dietary, movement, and lifestyle adaptations are likely to be discussed as daily habits have a large impact on health.
