Comprehensive, Individualized Care
Wellness understood as daily practice
Small actions add up and shape how we feel in our body and mind. Wellness is as much about daily habits as it is about treatments.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine can help tip the scale, supporting you to feel your best. We begin in the treatment room and offer support based on your individual goals that threads throughout your life.
Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from injury, or simply not feeling like yourself, treatment begins with understanding how your body is functioning as a whole.

Meet Laura
Guiding you toward wellness with personalized acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Dr. Laura Hamill studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture. She is licensed and board-certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, practicing in the State of Maine. Her doctorate focused on understanding how the integration of acupuncture into the western medical system can improve patient outcomes. Laura’s approach centers on precise, individualized care with an emphasis on prevention — helping patients move from symptom management toward steadier, more resilient health.
Curious how acupuncture works?
The practice of acupuncture comes from thousands of years of Traditional East Asian Medicine. The approach we take is tailored to each individual and based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) methodology of assessing signs and symptoms. We do not provide a Western diagnosis, but are able to incorporate information from Western medicine into our assessment. We take a bio-psycho-social approach, working with patients to set goals for their treatment plan based on their preferences, lifestyle, and personal needs.
Sterile, single-use filiform needles are used. These needles are thin, roughly the size of a human hair. The expereince of receiving acupuncture is often calming and it is common for patients to drift into a state of deep relaxation during treatment. For patients who are sensitive to or nervous about needles, there are options available. Adjunctive techniques may include, tuina, cupping, gua sha, or moxibustion.
